Otedola Bridge Inferno:Traders,Residents Lament Neglect As Gas Station Resumes Without Sympathy For Families Of Victims

Business owners and residents of CMD Road around Otedola Bridge, Lagos, who were affected by the unfortunate inferno of Tuesday last week have cried out over alleged inhuman treatment and disregard for their losses, especially the death of over 10 people. They accused the gas company, Second Coming Nigeria Limited, whose truck caused the accident, of insensitivity as it was claimed that they have failed to sympathise with them or even share in their losses, but has rather continued to carry out business activities. It was gathered that company has not deemed it proper to visit the family members of the deceased to commiserate with them since the unfortunate incident happened. The incident, we were informed, will be the third one in which human lives and properties were lost to fire caused by the trucks of the organisation. It was revealed that the rickety nature of most of the truck carrying flammable substance being sold by the company, has been responsible for the avoidable disaster....

Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR Declaration of State of Emergency in the fast growing Hobesian State of the Jungle, euphemistically called Rivers State under Governor Similaye Fubara on Tuesday , 18th. March, 2025, a number of Cry, Cry Baby Wolves have gone to town in condemnations.
