Tafa Sego, The New Face of Lagos NURTW

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos state has Ben known to be a union of hard guys who continue to terrorize drivers and motorists across the state , since it's formation

The union , which was formed by leaders if the defunct national party of Nigeria (NPN) in the second republic to rival the major transport union then, the Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), has grown to be notorious especially as willing took in the hands of politicians

From the time of Adebayo Ogundare, also known as "Bayo Success", to the outgoing ,MC oluomo ,it's the same story of high-handedness  , forceful collection of tolls, instead of union dues in their respective offices

Lagosians loath them for the act of brigandage and lawlessness on the road, which has led to death and permanent disability on the part of some motorists

With the new leadership of Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle Adio popularly known as "Tafa Sego", it is assumed in so many quarters that his humility, kindness , incredible administrative prowess and commitment to his followers will ultimately guide him in restoring the lost glory of the once vibrant transport union

In the words of Alhaji Rasaq Akanni Adeyiga" we have just gotten a chairman that understands the job, he is amiable, friendly, tolerant and very kind. The union will be packaged for service delivery, enough of NURTW of gangster. Our union will not forget it's members, especially those who died fighting for us, those who died in active service to the union and others. I know Alhaji Sego knows where the show pinches and I wish him well. "

All eyes on the new leadership of the union in Lagos to deliver on his campaign promises , Tafa Sego is the new face of Lagos
