YABA LCDA Supervisor,Hon Afeni Gíves hope To Traders in Yaba Community, Presents financial assistance


 


It was a day of appreciation and prayer on Wednesday as the Supervisor for  ICT in   Yaba local council development area ,  Hon Seyi Afeni renewed the hope of Traders in Yaba Community with the distributing of cash grants for support their businesses. 



The enthusiastic traders poured prayers on the donor for coming to the aid of the traders,students and the vulnerable in the society 



The ICT guru turned politician has  also embarked on education support for the students ,as well as ICT training for indigent youth so as to equip them digitally. 




Speaking at the occasion, Hon Afeni disclosed that he is merely giving back to the society from the little God has given to him,promising to increase the number of traders later..



The youthful Politician had earlier in the year supported Onitiri community with electricity.




In his words " let me thank the almighty God for the privilege. The community made me ,so ,its important that I equally plough back by supporting our traders,students and the the youth who are the future. I am doing it out of my meagre resources,but I will not relent in  giving back to Yaba Community as a whole. It's a pledge and I will always remember my people"


Hon Afeni is currently running a free online ICT training for youth in Yaba and environs ,while another food support programme of his will hold in Makoko community on 8th November 


The five appreciative traders  commended hon Afeni for the gesture ,while praying for long life for him as well as success in political endeavors. 



Each of the traders received the sum of  fifty thousand naira each in the third edition of Hon Afeni Traders Support programme

LASTMA IMPOUNDS 30 VEHICLES OVER ILLEGAL PARKING/UNPAINTED IN LAGOS.

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in continuation of a general enforcement operations to unlock every traffic bottleneck across the State today  impounded 30 vehicles over illegal parking and unpainted around Apongbon and Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA Mr. Adebayo Taofiq confirmed that enforcement operations were carried out in compliance with the directive of Hon. Sola Giwa the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation. Mr. Adebayo confirmed further that the exercise was carried out after several warnings to both private and commercial bus drivers to stop indiscriminate parking by road sides, kerbs, walkways including road setbacks across the State. Hotelier Drags NDLEA before National Human Rights Commission over Invasion, Destruction of his property

A Lagos-based hotelier, Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu, has lodged a petition with the National Human Rights Commission, alleging unlawful invasion, property destruction, and the theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Idowu's legal representatives, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, based in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State, submitted the petition titled "Unlawful Invasion of Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu's Residence and Business Premises by NDLEA Officers," urging the commission to ensure justice for their client.
