Safe Us From Olu Omo's planned Mayhem in Lagos ,NURTW Members Appeal to Governor Sanwoolu

Leaders and members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos state have cried to the state Governor ,to safe them from the iron grips of the  former state Chairman,Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a Mc Oluomo over his refusal to hand over the reins of government to his successor,Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle popularly known as Tafa Sego

In their separate passionate letters of appeal to the governor, they all reiterated that over a month ago,a truce was reached and theformee chairman  pronounced Tafa Sego as his successor since he ,Oluomo will be contesting the national president of the union in Abuja, stressing that he assured that the smooth take over will take one month ,but he has reneged on his promise they chorused

On his social media handle,Alhaji Shamsideen Oladiti, also known as Shamelon said that he is appealing to Mr Governor to come to the aid of the generality of their members in Lagos state by calling Mc Oluomo to order by transferring power to the popular choice of all.

In his words " your excellency sir we are more aggrieved day by day ,it seems Mc Oluomo is becoming a hard nut to crack. At the Lagos state house sir,in your presence and some important personalities, like the commissioner for transportation ,commissioner of police ,he addressed a press conference where he announced Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle (Sego) as the next Chairman of NURTW in Lagos state and requested to be given a month for proper transition of power. Its over a month now, nothing has been done in that respect ,but he rather prefer the game of divide and rule"

He concluded by saying himself and majority of members of the union in Lagos state have switched allegiance to Tafa Sego to run the affairs of the union in Lagos state

In his own brief addendum,Alhaji Muritala Lawal a .k.a  Pepper said he is appealing to the governor and the president to come to their aid to prevent the degeneration 9f the matter to a violent one ,stressing that Mc Oluomo is notorious for violence, while Sego remains a peace loving human being

He said " your Excellency sir Mc Olu Omo is trying to play a game of  anarchy with your office. He has not kept the promise he made before you and others, invariably he said,he is indirectly trying to tell you that you are not worthy to give him order.  We want Mr Governor and the BOT of NURTW to please come to our rescue because MC Oluomo is not a good Ambassador of peace ,he is  toying with the patience of all the members of NURTW in Lagos state,Alhaji Adekunle Sego will not preach the gospel of war ,but rather the gospel of peace progress and tranquility in Lagos state and it's environs"

Another staunch member of the union Alhaji Abúbakar Arogunmasa a k a Abu Stainless thanked almighty Allah for his unequivocal support over the struggle and appreciation to Mr Governor,Oba Of Lagos,Oba Elegushi and Oba Oniru.

He appreciated members of the union for their calmness in the face of provocation, while thanking the BOT for their cooperation and comportment ,while he urged the Governor to intervene into the matter before it degenerates.

He said as law abiding citizens ,they will want the governor to do the needful by calling Mc Oluomo to order and hand over power to Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle

Speaking with this medium,a strong member of the union and a core loyalist of Sego Alhaji Rasak Akanni opined that the ball is in the court of the state government to compel Alhaji Mc Oluomo to do the needful ,stressing that he can not be bigger than the state

He said Mc should not take the silence and calmness of the vast majority for stupidity ,but should respect those who sat on the day peace was restored to the union by the governor and his team, where Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle was pronounced as the incoming chairman of the union to the admiration of members across the state

Visit to most of the garages across the state showed that there is palpable fear and uncertainty,as the matter of power transition occupies their discussions

Majority fear that the peace accord reached at the Lagos house may be broken if the incumbent fails to act in accordance with the last peace pact
