Ekiti Guber 2026: Rain Fails to Stop Massive Turnout as Ikere Rallies Behind Oluyede
Thousands of residents of Ikere Local Government Area on Monday defied heavy rainfall to attend the governorship campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Dr. Oluwole Oluyede, in a remarkable show of support ahead of the June 20, 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State. The rally turned into a carnival-like atmosphere as party supporters, youths, women groups, artisans, traders, and community stakeholders thronged the venue, chanting solidarity songs and expressing confidence in the candidacy of the Ikere-born governorship hopeful.
