Abacha’s Daughter Marriage To Yobe Governor,Mai Mala Buni Crashes

 



Fatima Gumsu Abacha, daughter of former military Head of State, late General Sani Abacha, has revealed that she has moved out of her marriage with Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni. 

Governor Buni married Gumsu Abacha as his 4th wife in March 2021. The 47 year old was previously married to Cameroonian multi-billionaire, Bayero Fadil Mohamadou. They separated in 2019 after almost 20 years of marriage that produced five children. 

Gumsu made the shocking revelation that she is divorced from the Governor while replying to a follower who called her ‘First Lady’ on her X handle, formerly Twitter. She had shared a beautiful photo of herself with her left fingers free and  the captioned it “Emancipation…Liberation.” In the comment section, a user referred to her as the First Lady of Yobe state, but Gumsu said she was not married. “I am not married”, she replied. Gists have it that the marriage ended some months ago.

 Governor Buni took Gumsu as his wife in 2021, at a colourful ceremony. 


The reason for the break up is still being kept a secret by both parties

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA IMPOUNDS 30 VEHICLES OVER ILLEGAL PARKING/UNPAINTED IN LAGOS.

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in continuation of a general enforcement operations to unlock every traffic bottleneck across the State today  impounded 30 vehicles over illegal parking and unpainted around Apongbon and Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA Mr. Adebayo Taofiq confirmed that enforcement operations were carried out in compliance with the directive of Hon. Sola Giwa the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation. Mr. Adebayo confirmed further that the exercise was carried out after several warnings to both private and commercial bus drivers to stop indiscriminate parking by road sides, kerbs, walkways including road setbacks across the State.
