Amuwo-Odofin APC conducts prayer meeting for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's Presidential Aspiration
The All Progressive Congress Party in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government held a prayer meeting in support of the Presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The meeting which had in attendance the Council Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh as host was graced by all the stakeholders of the party in Amuwo-Odofin

In his opening remark the Council Chairman said that all the various groups across the local government are to collapse its structure into Abat Movement which is the unifying group that would champion the presidential campaign of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The Council Chairman also appealed to all supporters of candidates to desist from hurling insults at each other on social media platforms but should embrace unity of purpose for the task at attend.

The Special Adviser to the Governor, on CBD. Hon. Gbenga Oyerinde who also attended the meeting, charged party faithfuls to go and revalidate their eligibility to vote at INEC office.

Co- Nirec Chairman, Alhaji Chief Imam Iliasu Yusuf and Venerable Femi Fabiyi led the  intercesessory prayer sessions respectively.

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

    Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved with immediate effect the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). A statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation Mr. Olawale Musa noted that the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanors among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads. Bakare-Oki Olalekan joined the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager. He holds a Masters Degree in Transportation Planning and Management from University of Lagos and has attended several capacity-building programmes on inter-modal traffic management systems locally and internationally.
