Amuwo Odofin Council Chairman Felicitates With APC on hitch free convention, Urges Officers to Commence reconciliation across the country

 




The recently conducted national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress!APC) has been described as one of the best ever organized in the country and hitch free one,and in reciprocating the wonderful work done by the convention planning committee,all officers must get to work for the success of the party ,through reconciliation of aggrieved members.



The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Council Chairman,Engr Valentine Oluseyi Buraimoh made the submission in a brief media chat after the swearing in of the national officers ,where he commended president Muhammadu Buhari for his humility and sincerity in the entire process, especially his insistence on having the convention.  


The council boss also praised the Mallam Buni led Convention committee for a job well done and all other stakeholders for seeing to a successful convention that produced credible Nigerians as officers.  



In his words " this is one of the most peaceful,credible and hitch free conventions so far in the history of our dear nation.  All the stakeholders of the APC must be congratulated for the good job. President Muhammadu Buhari must be praised for his humility before and during the convention,he displayed uncommon commitment to party cohesion, by that,he has laid a solid foundation for the victory of the party in the general elections in 2023..The Convention Extraordinary Planning Committee under the leadership of Mallam Buni should equally be praised for the exemplary conduct in the whole process.  In all ,we are all winners.."



The Amiable council boss however used the opportunity to call on members of the party to rally round the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu in his quest to take over from president Muhammadu Buhari. 

He described him as the best in terms of capability,track record and commitment to good governance.  



"Let me also use this opportunity to appeal to the generality of members of our party to rally round Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu as he jostles for the ticket of the party. I make bold to say,he is the most qualified ,most experienced and most loved,he will continue the good work of president Buhari. ", he concluded

Hotelier Drags NDLEA before National Human Rights Commission over Invasion, Destruction of his property

A Lagos-based hotelier, Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu, has lodged a petition with the National Human Rights Commission, alleging unlawful invasion, property destruction, and the theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Idowu's legal representatives, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, based in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State, submitted the petition titled "Unlawful Invasion of Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu's Residence and Business Premises by NDLEA Officers," urging the commission to ensure justice for their client. Ekiti Insecurity: Group gives marching order to herders to leave community

Following unbridled grazing activities leading to wanton destruction of farmland, kidnap and sundry nefarious perpetrations, the Itapaji Progressives Union (IPU) has issued notice to Fulani herders operating in and around the town to vacate. Rising from an emergency meeting with the traditional council of the town, led by the Olu of Itapaji, Oba AbdulKareem Adebanjo, and the deputy, High Chief Yisa Olaoye (Oluketu of Itapaji Ekiti), it was resolved that all cattle dealers in the town should close the business,  to augment the ongoing moves by the Ekiti State government to enthrone security in the zone as well as boost agricultural yields.
