Hon. Dele Philip Wins Outstanding leadership Award



When you are good at what you do, you will always be recognized and placed high among your peers. So it was for the very enterprising and officious Dele Phillips, a man with all means in his businesses. It was another day of glory for the Real Estate player and hospitality business guru, Dele Phillips when he audaciously bagged the Outstanding Businessman & Inspiring Leadership Award at the 4th Timeline Awareness Initiatives/Award that held at The Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja Lagos. 

This year’s edition that had ‘imperative of harmonizedworking relationship between arms of government’ as its theme had many distinguished personalities in attendance.
Hon. Dele Phillips, according to the organizers, was recognized and awarded, based on his exemplary business sagacity
and leadership qualities, which have severally and individually distinguished him amongst his peers over the years. The very focused and well-intentioned businessman is a native of Aramoko in Ekiti state.

 He owns the Shores Group that has in its stable the Shores Hotel and Restaurant and Lounge, both in Lekki and Victoria Island, and also the Shores Resort, at the Free Trade Zone, which is ongoing at the moment. He was presented the award at the 4th Timeline Awards/Presentation in Sheraton Hotels, Lagos.

Hotelier Drags NDLEA before National Human Rights Commission over Invasion, Destruction of his property

A Lagos-based hotelier, Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu, has lodged a petition with the National Human Rights Commission, alleging unlawful invasion, property destruction, and the theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Idowu's legal representatives, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, based in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State, submitted the petition titled "Unlawful Invasion of Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu's Residence and Business Premises by NDLEA Officers," urging the commission to ensure justice for their client. Ekiti Insecurity: Group gives marching order to herders to leave community

Following unbridled grazing activities leading to wanton destruction of farmland, kidnap and sundry nefarious perpetrations, the Itapaji Progressives Union (IPU) has issued notice to Fulani herders operating in and around the town to vacate. Rising from an emergency meeting with the traditional council of the town, led by the Olu of Itapaji, Oba AbdulKareem Adebanjo, and the deputy, High Chief Yisa Olaoye (Oluketu of Itapaji Ekiti), it was resolved that all cattle dealers in the town should close the business,  to augment the ongoing moves by the Ekiti State government to enthrone security in the zone as well as boost agricultural yields.
