Amuwo Odofin LG Chairman,Other Lagos Council Bosses join South West Youth to Endorse Tinubu's presidential aspiration.

 




The Amiable chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government area of Lagos state,Engr Valentine Oluseyi Buraimoh on Saturday joined his colleagues,mobilized the youth of his local government to join youths from all over the south west of Nigeria to declare unalloyed support for the presidential aspiration of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu. 



The council boss,who arrived the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium Onikan Lagos in company of the youths of his local government,was in joyful mood and expressed appreciation to those who organized the event. 



Speaking to few journalists at the sideline of the event,the council chairman described Asiwaju Bola TInubu as a "great administrator,committed progressive,unrepentant preacher of good governance and above all a patriotic Nigerian,who is ready to put Nigeria back on the track of economic development,as he did while he was governor in Lagos state".



Engr Buraimoh equally used the opportunity to appeal to the party to consider the major sacrifice of the Asiwaju of Lagos and support his aspiration,as he is sure he has the ability to change the fortunes of the country for good when elected. 


According to him' let me use this opportunity to call on our leaders in the party, to ensure that credible candidates are featured for elections,and more importantly,Asiwaju should be considered owing to his numerous sacrifice he has made for the growth of the party ,and I am confident,if given the opportunity to lead Nigeria,he will change the narratives positively. "



The council Chairman attended the event with all the youth leaders of his local government, Executive members, Councillors and several youth from his local government to drum support for Asiwaju.

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

    Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved with immediate effect the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). A statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation Mr. Olawale Musa noted that the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanors among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads. Bakare-Oki Olalekan joined the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager.
