TeamNigeria4Change Celebrates Sanwoolu's Endorsement in grand style





The recent endorsement of Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, by the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been generating reactions as a pan Nigerian group, TeamNigeria4Change on Sunday rolled out the drums to celebrate the endorsement in grand style, describing the action as " timely and expected".




The Team through its national coordinator, Otunba Bestman Nze Jumbo disclosed that the group decided to organize the get together to celebrate the Governor's endorsement and also to create awareness for his reelection bid, promising that such gathering will be extended to many communities in the state, stressing that it's the group's contribution to the campaign of Mr Governor.



The TeamNigeria4Change coordinator further stated that the good projects of the Governor earned him the endorsement of the GAC  and that of the national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu, stressing that the reelection of the governor will be a walk over as Lagosians will definitely pay him back for his commitment to good governance ,as exemplified by the projects  executed across the state.  



The carnival like get together had in attendance several leaders of youth groups across the state, leadership of the group, leadership of Shogunro Estate Residents Association as well as Female groups, popular juju musician, Segun Blessing, was among those who performed at the get together.

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

    Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved with immediate effect the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). A statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation Mr. Olawale Musa noted that the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanors among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads. Bakare-Oki Olalekan joined the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager.
