Ekiti 2022: Let's Vote APC Candidate for Tinubu's presidential Bid- Pan Nigerian Group

 


 


A pan Nigerian movement,Nigerians Unite For APC has called on the people of Ekiti state to vote for the ruling All progressives Congress (APC), in the gubernatorial election in the state so as to actualize the presidential bid  of  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed,inorder to enjoy dividends of democracy by electing HoN  Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji popularly known as BAO as Governor on Saturday , stressing that he is the most qualified,going by his track records both in private and public service. 



The position of the movement was made known by the convener of the group, Otunba Remilekun Balogun at a mobilisation walk in Ado and Irepodun local governments on Thursday in a press release signed by himself,positing that ',Oyebanji is credible, intelligent, politically savvy and a bridge builder who has served the state meritoriously'



The group further disclosed that the Wonderful projects executed by the outgoing government of Governor Kayode Fayemi is equally an attestation that Oyebanji being a member of the team will continue the impactful projects and also improve on them for the betterment of the people of Ekiti state. 


According to the Coordinator" we are out to mobilize the people of Ekiti to vote Hon Olabanji for governor,he is tested and trusted. His service to the state has been impressive and he is eminently qualified to lead the state at this point in time"


Furthery,Otunba Balogun equally asserted that a vote for the APC candidate is a vote for the progressives and a right step in ensuring success for the presidential candidate of the APC,who has done much for democratic governance. 


He enjoined the people to also reciprocate the commitment of the APC candidate to democratic governance in the country by voting Olabanji..


In his words"our people, we have come to seek your support for the progressives,we have a presidential candidate who has contributed significantly to the democracy we are enjoying today,so a vote for Olabanji is a vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,who is the candidate of the APC in next year's presidential election. Asiwaju has done well and awe need to pay him back positively, BAO is the best amongst the rest now,let's support the progressive party on Saturday..


The highlight of the mobilization was the distribution of campaign souvenir by the group which includes face cap,banners etc.

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

    Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved with immediate effect the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). A statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation Mr. Olawale Musa noted that the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanors among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads. Bakare-Oki Olalekan joined the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager.
