CELEBRATING A FRIEND WITH LARGE HEART.

A perfect example of a sincere and grateful friend, We became friends in the same secondary school we attended, haven  grew up and raised in the same community in the 70s.  

ALABA Julius Ropo is a friend with leadership qualities, an attribute that became noticeable since our growing up days.  


Ropo was well brought up with good parental influence. Little wonder he started doing well for himself at the very early stage of his working age.


He was already an administrator and intellectually inclined before I facilitated his change in career and moved him into Federal Government employment from his State Govt level where he had risen significantly to senior staff.

At the Federal level, he became committed and loyal as a friend despite his both sound academic and emotional intelligence. Last month in Oka Akoko, his Station. I had traveled to join my friend to celebrate his Dad's burial. Fortunately, Ropo had led a team of Operatives to the assignment from his Oka Akoko Station. On sighting me, he ran to give me a lovely hug and a few minutes later, he returned to appreciate me a very big envelope. This particular move of his made me a bit emotional because I have assisted many others like him who remained  ungrateful. 


Ropo is a grateful person whose humility and generosity stand out.

Hotelier Drags NDLEA before National Human Rights Commission over Invasion, Destruction of his property

A Lagos-based hotelier, Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu, has lodged a petition with the National Human Rights Commission, alleging unlawful invasion, property destruction, and the theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Idowu's legal representatives, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, based in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State, submitted the petition titled "Unlawful Invasion of Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu's Residence and Business Premises by NDLEA Officers," urging the commission to ensure justice for their client. Ekiti Insecurity: Group gives marching order to herders to leave community

Following unbridled grazing activities leading to wanton destruction of farmland, kidnap and sundry nefarious perpetrations, the Itapaji Progressives Union (IPU) has issued notice to Fulani herders operating in and around the town to vacate. Rising from an emergency meeting with the traditional council of the town, led by the Olu of Itapaji, Oba AbdulKareem Adebanjo, and the deputy, High Chief Yisa Olaoye (Oluketu of Itapaji Ekiti), it was resolved that all cattle dealers in the town should close the business,  to augment the ongoing moves by the Ekiti State government to enthrone security in the zone as well as boost agricultural yields.
