2023 :Asiwaju Tinubu is the most qualified for Presidency -Hon Kuku


 



The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu has been described as the most qualified of the contenders for the presidency of the country and that he is well prepared to emerge victorious in February 2023..



This was the submission of a stalwart of the party and the south west Youth Coordinator of The Asiwaju Group (TAG),Hon Adegboyega Kuku in an interactive  session with members of his campaign team in Ikeja,where he reiterated the importance of permanent voters card and continuous political  education  of the would be voters. 



Hon Kuku explained that unlike those running Helter skelter,Asiwaju has carved a niche for himself both in private and public services,so the experience garnered can't be compared with those who have not worked in multi national companies. 



The youthful politician equally used the opportunity to equally appeal to his campaign team to embark on aggressive house to house campaign for the election of Asiwaju,Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu,Hon Abiodun Faleke and other candidates of the party,stressing victory for all will guarantee a prosperous Asiwaju presidency. 



According to him " my people,I called this meeting this afternoon to appeal to you,to embark on aggressive campaign for our leader,a tested and trusted politician,who has performed creditably in Lagos,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu. He is the most popular,most acceptable,most experienced and above all,the most qualified of all those jostling for the exalted position.".



"We need to tell our people on the need to support this achiever as president and commander in chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria. The future is bright with a leader like Asiwaju as he has all it takes to change the fortunes of the country positively. We must also ensure our workaholic Governor,Mr Babajide Sanwoolu is elected for a second term to continue his giant strides in the state. His first term has demonstrated to us that he is a compassionate leader. The omodada of Lagos, who has also displayed uncommon commitment to Ikeja Constituency , Hon James Abiodun Faleke should as a matter of compulsion be supported too as well as all other candidates of our party. We must show that Ikeja is cosmopolitan city and we must deliver our candidates with wide margin, so that opponents will be perpetually keep mute when they see the results. This is my appeal my people. We must be proactive in this campaign,as the independent national electoral commission is set to lift ban on open campaign next week. ",hon Kuku concluded.

Hotelier Drags NDLEA before National Human Rights Commission over Invasion, Destruction of his property

A Lagos-based hotelier, Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu, has lodged a petition with the National Human Rights Commission, alleging unlawful invasion, property destruction, and the theft of his gold necklace worth fifty million naira by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Idowu's legal representatives, Complete Solicitors and Advocates, based in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State, submitted the petition titled "Unlawful Invasion of Mr. Ayobami Moses Idowu's Residence and Business Premises by NDLEA Officers," urging the commission to ensure justice for their client. Ekiti Insecurity: Group gives marching order to herders to leave community

Following unbridled grazing activities leading to wanton destruction of farmland, kidnap and sundry nefarious perpetrations, the Itapaji Progressives Union (IPU) has issued notice to Fulani herders operating in and around the town to vacate. Rising from an emergency meeting with the traditional council of the town, led by the Olu of Itapaji, Oba AbdulKareem Adebanjo, and the deputy, High Chief Yisa Olaoye (Oluketu of Itapaji Ekiti), it was resolved that all cattle dealers in the town should close the business,  to augment the ongoing moves by the Ekiti State government to enthrone security in the zone as well as boost agricultural yields.
