Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman Welcomes Pupils Back to School, Promises More Support for Education

 


As pupils of schools across the state resumed back educational activities, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has welcomed them back, promising that good time awaits education henceforth within the local government.


The Council chairman welcomed the students in a press release by his media office, where he enjoined them to focus more on their educational pursuits as that is the gateway to prosperity. 


The council chairman also called on teaching and none teaching staff in the schools to ensure they discharge their duties diligently and dutifully. 


He disclosed that his government will continue to give priority attention to education and youth development. 


In his words, "Let me on behalf of the government welcome back our pupils to school. I want to reiterate that education still remains the foundation for prosperity across the globe. We will continue to prioritize education in our local government and I want to assure you education and youth development will receive adequate attention always."


He promised his administration will provide learning materials for pupils to aid learning and efforts are ongoing towards ensuring that some of the schools receive facelift..
