  Tragedy has struck the home of popular musician and a scion of the Adedeji Adeleke dynasty,David Adeleke popularly known as Davido as lost his only son,Ifeanyi Adeleke The young Adeleke was sad to have drowned in the swimming pool in his father's palatial Banana island residence.    It was disclosed Davido and the mother,Chioma were away in Ibadan while the son was left in the care of his minders,who couldn't explain what led to his being drowned. Friends and colleagues of the musician on hearing of the sad news had to move the parents to the residence of the grandfather.  Colleagues have been expressing shock over the unfortunate incident ,while condoling with the Adeleke's over the sad occurrence.

The Lagos State Police Command has been urged to put machineries in motion to ensure that an accused person in a case of Child defilement, Dr. Femi Olaleye of Optimal Cancer Foundation, is not allowed to escape justice. The warning was handed down on Wednesday in Lagos by the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) in a press release signed by it's Executive Director, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, stressing that the arrest and prosecution of the accused person will serve as deterrent to others.  The NGO disclosed that the matter of child defilement was reported, and actions taken include letters to the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP). Nafisat Bello The clash between the Kogi state government and Dangote Group of Companies, owners of the Obajana Cement Factory, on Thursday took a new turn as Governor Yahaya Bello gave the supposed owners an ultimatum to shut down the factory within the next 48 hours. The two parties have for days been having a running battle over the rightful owners of the factory with the government accusing Dangote of merely grabbing the place illegally and challenging it to produce documentary evidence of ownership.
