Matured Minds congratulate BAO on Appeal-Court victory


EKITI— Matured Minds Platform have congratulated Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on the Appeal Court judgment which affirmed his emergence and his eligibility as the Governor-elect of the APC duly elected at the 18th June governorship election.

Reacting to the judgment, Matured Minds platform in a statement released by its welfare admin Comrade Oba Mathew, said the Appeal Court verdict was a victory for democracy and the good people of the Ekiti state, whom he said gave Mr.Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji mandate to succeed Dr.John Kayode Fayemi.

In his words "the judgement is a true reflection of the wishes of the people of the state, especially those at the grassroots, no wonder the mandate given to Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to lead the state have continued to jeered tremendous goodwill and support from Ekiti Stakeholders both at home and abroad to enable his noble vision in advancing good governance come to reality.

Also, the convener of Matured minds platform Hon.Odunayo Ehinafe while thanking God for the victory, appreciated the judiciary for rising up to its solemn responsibility of ensuring that justice prevails, stressing that the judgment was a clear indication that the third arm of government is the last hope of the common man.

Hon Ehinafe called few persons who may still be aggrieved to drop their difference in the interest of the state and join hands with our visionary Governor-elect to move Ekiti state forward.He described Governor-elect as a man of peace who is ever ready and willing to accommodate all shades of interests in line with the peace and development initiatives pivotal to his vision
