Ariyoh Felicitates With Lagos Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa at 50



The Immediate Past Executive Chairman Of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Hon Idris Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh congratulates Obasa on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.   


Hon Ariyoh extolled the the virtues of the speaker , saying Obasa is  an exceptional, committed, dedicated, passionate, visionary and focused public servant who has consistently provided the state with exemplary and legislative progressive leadership. 


Hon Ariyoh also praised  Obasa who is a member of the Lagos APC apex leadership body, Governance Advisory Council (GAC), former Chairman, Conference of Speakers of Nigeria   and the longest serving lawmaker in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

LASTMA ARRAIGNS 12 OFFICERS BEFORE DISCIPLINARY PANEL FOR VARIOUS OFFENSES BOTHERING ON CORRUPT PRACTICES, ABSENTEEISM

  .........11 Officers indicted as panel final reports recommended dismissal, reduction in rank, compulsory retirement for Officers Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Thursday,  arraigned 12 Officers before Disciplinary Panel for various Offenses bothering on corrupt practices and absenteeism in line with the extant rules as guided by the Lagos State Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Acting General Manager of LASTMA Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan disclosed that the disciplinary panel which was statutorily constituted with three (3) Permanent Secretaries in attendance adjudicated cases of corrupt practices levied against these 12 Officers and forwarded their recommendations to the State Civil Service Commission for ratification in line with the Public Service Rules. LASTMA GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.

    Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved with immediate effect the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan as the Acting General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). A statement by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation Mr. Olawale Musa noted that the appointment of Mr. Bakare-Oki Olalekan is for better performance, eradicating incidences of misdemeanors among staffs and continued efficient/effective traffic management on Lagos roads. Bakare-Oki Olalekan joined the Lagos State Public Service on the April 25, 2000 and rose through the ranks over the years to the post of Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA, before his new appointment as General Manager. He holds a Masters Degree in Transportation Planning and Management from University of Lagos and has attended several capacity-building programmes on inter-modal traffic management systems locally and internationally.
