Just in: MC Olumomo Endorses SEGO as Chairman of NURTW, Lagos Council

 



The palpable tension in the Lagos state council of the National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW) seems to have abated as the incumbent Chairman ,Alhaji Musilius Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a Mc Oluomo endorsed the candidacy of Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle popularly known as Tafa Sego



At a meeting held at the Lagos house on Sunday 31st December, where the state Governor ,Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu ,his Chief of staff Mr Tayo Ayinde,the Special Adviser on transportation,Hon Sola Giwa were present  ,equally had in attendance major stakeholders in the union as well as the two contenders,for the chairmanship seat of the union ,Mr Tafa Sego and Ikudeleti




At the end of the marathon meeting ,it was unanimously agreed by all parties that Mustapha Adekunle known as Sego will be the next Chairman of the union in the center of excellence ,while Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya will be gunning for the presidency of the union in Abuja



Immediately after the pronouncement, Alhaji Akinsanya and the duo of Sego and Ikudeleti stood up to the admiration of all,there and then,Alhaji Akinsanya held the hand of Sego and raised it ,


which generated applause from those present 


The peaceful resolution has greatly reduced the tension across the state
