ODUNARO’S “ZERO VOTE” FABRICATION IS A DESPERATE HALLUCINATION OF A SINKING POLITICAL HEGEMONY: AN UNHOLY ATTEMPT TO PREEMPT THE JUDICIARY AND INFLUENCE THE COURTS!
The attention of the Abayomi Hunye Campaign Organisation has been drawn to the sensational, misleading, and utterly laughable commentary by Mr. Kayode Odunaro, the Media Adviser to Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), during his recent radio appearance.
It is truly tragic, yet entirely expected, that Odunaro and his factional handlers continue to resort to cheap falsehoods, political intimidation, and statistical absurdities to cover up what was arguably the most flawed and anti-democratic primary process in the history of the Ogun State All Progressives Congress (APC).
1. The "Zero Vote" Fallacy: A Direct Insult to Ogun APC Members
To claim that Hon. Abayomi Hunye, a grassroot titan, dedicated party loyalist, and prominent son of Yewaland, scored "zero votes" across all 236 wards of Ogun State is a mathematical impossibility and an insult to the intelligence of thousands of APC faithful who stood courageously in the sun to vote for genuine, home-grown leadership.
How can a candidate with verified, robust support across the three senatorial districts score zero?
The Reality: A "zero vote" allocation is not an election result; it is a manufactured figure written in secret rooms to validate an orchestrated imposition.
The Contradiction: If Hon. Hunye truly had no followership, why are Odunaro, his principal, and their propaganda machinery spending millions of Naira daily, hopping from radio station to radio station, seeking to discredit a man they claim scored "zero"? Panic has clearly set in.
2. Desperate Sub-Judice Meddling: Are They Trying to Preempt or Influence the Honorable Court?
In his radio commentary, Odunaro deceitfully asserted that "after the court verdict, it was said he actually scored zero." This is a blatant, calculated lie aimed at misinforming the public, preempting the judiciary, and subtly attempting to influence the bench!
The Reality of the Court Proceedings: There is NO COURT VERDICT on this suit (Abayomi Semako Hunye v. APC & 2 Ors.). The matter remains active, pending, and fully before the court.
Current Status: In recent court proceedings attended by Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) representing all parties, no judgment was delivered. The suit was simply adjourned to 18th November 2026.
The Question for Odunaro: Where did Odunaro get his fictional "court verdict"? Is Senator Adeola's camp now running a parallel court system? Or are they actively trying to blackmail the judiciary, prejudice the mind of the honorable judge, and manufacture a verdict in the court of public opinion before the matter returns to court on 18th November 2026?
This desperate attempt to fabricate non-existent judicial pronouncements proves that they are terrified of facing constitutional scrutiny before an unbiased court.
3. Manufactured Suspensions and Threat Tactics
Odunaro’s claims of party suspension and threats of criminalization are nothing more than classical political intimidation. Hon. Abayomi Hunye remains an unblemished, bonafide leader of the APC.
The continuous deployment of threats, sponsored media lynching, and contrived ward-level declarations only prove one thing: the opposition is terrified of facing the true test of internal democracy and constitutional scrutiny.
4. The Courtroom, Not Propaganda Stations, Will Decide Democracy
We wish to sternly caution Mr. Odunaro and his sponsors: sub-judice matters cannot be settled by media tyranny or radio grandstanding.
Strict Sub-Judice: The primary process, statutory nomination declarations under oath, and the entire candidate legitimacy issue are active matters currently before a court of competent jurisdiction.
Respect the Bench: We demand that Senator Adeola's camp desist from attempting to intimidate the court, influence ongoing proceedings, or mislead Ogun citizens with fictional judge verdicts.
We urge the good people of Ogun State, loyal APC members, and the legal community to disregard the fraudulent claims coming from Senator Adeola's media trial. Hon. Abayomi Hunye remains resolute, fully committed to constitutional justice, and confident that the court proceedings on 18th November 2026 will expose all secret-room manipulations.
No amount of falsehoods, radio chatter, or desperate attempts to influence the judiciary will stop the truth from prevailing.
Signed:
Femi Oyewale
Media Aide,
Hon. Abayomi Hunye Governorship Campaign Organisation
Ogun State
