Prince Kuku Commends Gov Sanwoolu on Lekki Cargo Airport,Appreciates Buhari form approval  Just as the federal government gave letter of approval for the construction of Cargo Airport in Lagos state,Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu has been commended for his vision and commitment to the upliftment  of the state.. The commendation was given on Tuesday by a politician and business man,Prince Adegboyega Kuku while reacting to then handing over of letter of approval to the governor by the minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika at the on going Ehingbeti summit.. Project was at conceptual stage in 1992 2. Preliminary feasibility study carried out in 1992 3. Obajana Cement Company Plc with Certificate of Incorporation No. RC208767 dated 4th November, 1992 is solely owned by Kogi state 4. Prospecting Right (Numbered PR No.14 of 2001 No.0053) was issued exclusively to the company. 5. Kogi state offered and transferred 90% of its total shareholding in the company to Dangote Industries Limited. 6. Kogi state is at liberty to sell half of its 10% equity to indigenes of the state by public offer or private placement 7. Kogi state shall grant Dangote Industries Limited tax waivers and exemption from levies for a period of 7 years from the date of commencement of production

  The Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello has disclosed that reports before him indicate that the Dangote Cement Factory does not belong to the billionaire, Aliko Dangote Speaking at a media briefing, the Governor revealed that in the past five years he has received many petitions against the operations of the Dangote Cement factory, its ownership as well as the denial of the State its dues. All efforts to sit down with the proprietor of Dangote Conglomerate failed, according to Yahaya Bello because Dangote failed to show up. Despite this, he set up committees to look into the matter and they made efforts to get those who claimed to be very big in the company to come and defend themselves which also failed. The Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS) has sealed Dangote Cement factory in Obajana, Kogi State. A staff confirmed the development to POLITICS NIGERIA on Wednesday afternoon, adding that, “in fact, I’m on my way home as we speak”. This newspaper learnt that the KGIRS sealed the company over tax evasion and acquisition controversy. The action was reportedly backed by the Kogi State House of Assembly.
